Hi I'm Rhiannon and I'm this year's Service Coordinator. I have volunteered for Nightline since Spring 2017 and have enjoyed being on exec last year as the Rota Officer for Trainees. Aside from Nightline, I am currently doing a masters studying Criminal Justice!
Rhiannon is responsible for the external communications and liaisions with the University of Nottingham Students' Union and the University of Nottingham. Along with Ellen, she is responsible for managing the committee and ensuring that the service runs smoothly!
Hi my name is Ellen and I am this year’s Support coordinator! My role involves helping Rhiannon with the day to day aspects of running Nightline as well as looking after the welfare of all of our volunteers!
I have had so much fun volunteering for Nightline for the past 2 years and I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
Ellen is responsible for the Welfare Contacts within Nightline. Along with Rhiannon, she is responsible for managing the committee and ensuring that the service runs smoothly!
Hi I'm Charlie, this year's General Secretary. I've been volunteering with Nightline as a listening volunteer since February 2019 alongside my degree in Languages and Politics.
Tom is responsible for Nightline's finances, liaising with our external funders as well as our Fundraising team.
Information & Policy Officer
Hi! I’m Melinda and I have been involved in Nightline since Spring 2018. I will be taking up the role of Information and Policy Officer alongside studying for the last year of my Law degree.
Melinda is responsible for updating our policy and ensuring that we have up-to-date information available for our callers.
Technical Support Officer
Hi I'm William, I have been part of Nightline since Spring 2018. I undertook a very short career as a lisening volenter before joining the committee in the role of Technical Officer. I am currently in the second year of my Ph.D in Theoretical Condenced Matter Physics.
William is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our IM, Skype, and Phone services, as well as fixing anything in the office that breaks!
Rota Officer (Volunteers)
I have been involved with Nightline since Autumn 2015. I am part of the Rota team this year while studying for a PhD in Computer Science.
James and Paige are responsible for keeping the rotas full, so that our lines can remain open. It's through their hard work that we're one of the only Nightlines in the country that hasn't had to close their lines in over 3 years!

Hello I'm Paige, I'm 24, an English Studies postgraduate and I'm also one of your Rota Officers for the year. I started uni in 2013 and I've been with Nightline since Spring 2017 and I've enjoyed every year so can't complain.

Rota Officer (Training)
I’m Emily, I'm a third year psychology student and I've been doing Nightline since Spring 2018. I’m the Rota Officer for Trainees 2019/20 and I was also one of the Rota Officers for Vols in April-June 2019. My role involves updating all the trainees profiles, organising training shifts, and generally helping with both rota and training teams.
Emily is responsible for encouraging new volunteers to fill the rota and ensuring that they feel confident and able to become an experienced volunteer.
Continuous and External Training Officer
Hannah joined Nightline in Autumn 2016, and is a 3rd year medical student. Hannah has since enjoyed becoming more involved in Nightline by training new volunteers and serving on committee as a Fundraising Officer.
Hannah is responsible for firstly keeping all our volunteers up to date with their training and secondly for organising active listening and mental health awareness training for other groups and societies. As well as providing refresher training throughout the year to ensure volunteers are always up to date.
Hi, I'm Olivia and I'm this year's Marketing Officer. I've been a part of Nightline since Spring 2019 alongside studying in the 3rd year of my medical degree.
Olivia is responsible for Nightline's branding and promoting the work of Nottingham Nightline online and on social media.
Hi, I’m Shana and I’m Nightline’s Social Sec. I’ve been volunteering for Nightline since autumn 2018 and it’s been so much fun! I’m really excited to meet as many of our volunteers as possible at socials this year.
Shana is responsible for organising all socials for our listening and publicity volunteers, both new and current, giving everyone a chance to mingle and chat.

Hiya, I have been involved with Nightline since spring 2019 and will be taking on the role of Fundraising officer. I will be doing this alongside completing my second year of my English degree and am excited to be more involved in Nightline this year.
Hi I’m Gemma and I am one of Nightline’s Fundraising Officers. I trained as a listening volunteer in Spring 2019 and will be running and organising all the fundraising events this year alongside Kayleigh. I’m looking forward to being on committee whilst also completing my Biology degree.
Gemma and Kayleigh are responsible for organising and running fundraising events for Nightline, and work closely with the Publicity Officers to raise awareness of the work Nightline does.
Volunteer Engagement Officer
Hi, I’m Jess and I’m this year’s Volunteer Engagement Officer. I have been a part of Nightline for just over a year now, whilst studying Medicine.
Jess is responsible for getting new and current volunteers involved, particularly with recruiting and training new publicity and fundraising volunteers as well as helping with events that raise awareness and funds for Nottingham Nightline.

Hi I'm Hannah and I've been involved with Nightline since Autumn 2018. I'll be taking on the role of Facilities Officer whilst doing the second year of my Environmental Biology degree.
Hannah is responsible with maintaining the Nightlines physical locations and leasing with the Students union, University security, and the universities health and safety departments to keep all of our volunteers safe.
